Nan BAO

Dr. Bao received a bachelor’s degree in Clinical Medicine from Capital Medical University in 2000 and in 2005 she completed the standardized training for pediatric surgery residents and practiced in various clinical departments. Before joining United Family Hospital, Dr. Bao served in the Pediatric Surgery Department of the Children‘s Hospital Affiliated to the Capital Institute of Pediatrics and in a private women’s and children’s hospital in Beijing.

She is proficient at the diagnosis and treatment of common and frequently occurring pediatric diseases, including hernias, hydrocele, cryptorchidism, phimosis, hyperprepuce, surface masses, appendicitis, intussusception, ovarian cysts, testicle torsion, skin lesion resections, and emergency trauma sutures.

Dr. Bao has over 20 years clinical experience. In addition to focusing on clinical work, she also published academic articles in journals including the Chinese Journal of Pediatric Surgery.
