Lixin GAO

Dr. Gao received her Master’s Degree in Medicine from Bethune College of Medicine, Jilin University, in 2004. She was promoted to associate chief physician in 2013 and was promoted to chief physician in 2022，In 2019, she completed her training in obstetrics, fetal medicine, and prenatal screening at Queen Charlotte and Chelsea Hospital, Imperial College London.

Dr. Gao has nearly 20 years of clinical experience. Before joining Beijing United Family Hospital, she worked in the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology in Aerospace Central Hospital , Beijing, engaging in clinical, teaching and scientific research. Dr. Gao specializes in high-risk pregnancy (hypertensive disorders of pregnancy, gestational diabetes, pregnancy with hypothyroidism, obstetric infection, premature delivery, etc.), dystocia and complicated delivery, neonatal asphyxia resuscitation and critical maternal rescue. She is also skilled in a variety of surgical procedures such as using vacuum extraction, forceps delivery, complex cesarean section, cervical ligations, etc. in the field of obstetrics and hysteroscopy, laparoscopy, colposcopy, family planning surgery in the field of gynecology. In addition, she has accumulated extensive experience in pregnancy nutrition and prenatal screening.

Dr. Gao has published more than 10 academic papers in core journals. She has published 2 books and participated in many national and provincial research subjects. At the same time, she is responsible for theoretical teaching to undergraduates of Peking University Health Science Center.
