Postpartum Rehabilitation

Led by our team of OBGYN physicians, our Postpartum Rehabilitation Department provides personalized training and treatment solutions from our pediatricians, midwives, rehabilitative physicians, Traditional Chinese Medicine physicians, registered dietitians, and psychologists. Our services enable new mothers to quickly get through the critical stages of postpartum recovery. Additionally, our pediatricians provide regular medical checkups, nursing guidance for newborns, and professional rehabilitation guidance for premature newborns or those with mild complications. For newborns in the Neonatal Intensive Care Units (NICU), mothers can visit their babies while staying in the postpartum recovery wards to have some in-room time and foster a healthy and supportive parent-child relationship.

Postpartum Rehabilitation Services

1. Our services for mothers and newborns (28/42 days) include:

Basic Services:：

  • Special vehicle pick-up and drop-off services for new mothers
  • Postpartum nutrition and meals: including three main meals and three additional meals daily, customized by a team of nutritionists and chefs

Medical services: obstetrician-gynecologists, pediatricians, postpartum rehabilitation therapists, specialized nurses, and a 24-hour maternal and infant care team

  • Regular health assessments for mothers and newborns
  • Uterine involution and wound healing for mothers, answering questions and doubts
  • Recovery of postpartum perineal or cesarean wounds
  • Postpartum pelvic floor function rehabilitation
  • Protective exercises for the pelvis after childbirth
  • Abdominal shaping and recovery after childbirth
  • Adjustment and recovery of postpartum breathing patterns
  • Rehabilitation treatment for common postpartum issues
