ENT Clinic

The Department of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at DTU provides pediatric and adult patients with care for common and frequently occurring diseases of the ear, nose, and throat (ENT), including acute and chronic inflammation of the ear, allergic rhinitis, rhinorrhea, traumatic injuries, hearing loss, open-mouth breathing and snoring during sleep, foreign bodies in the ear, nose, and throat, and neonatal auricular deformities.

In the outpatient clinic, we perform endoscopic examinations of various parts of the ear, nose, and throat, removal of superficial foreign bodies from the ear, nose, and throat, assessment of subjective and objective auditory function in infants, children, and adults, correction of neonatal auricular deformities, and electrocoagulation of rhinorrhea. We are also able to perform surgery for children with adenoiditis.

Commonly performed surgeries include adenoid and tonsil removal in children, turbinate, sinus, and septum surgeries for adults, and various surgical treatments for outer and middle ear pathologies.
