Cathy ZHANG

Dr. Cathy Zhang is from China and is also a permanent Singapore resident. She received both her Bachelor degree in Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master degree in Orthodontics at Harbin Medical University. She joined the Dental Clinic at Beijing United Family Hospital in 2013. Before joining United Family, she practiced at the Shanghai branch of the Singapore Q&M Dental Group for five years.

Dr. Zhang has extensive clinical orthodontic experience with both children and adults. She is deeply experienced in interceptive and comprehensive orthodontic treatment with functional appliance therapy and modern orthodontic techniques such as self-ligation systems, mini-implant anchorage, and invisible orthodontic treatment。

Dr. Zhang has been published in the Journals of Dental Research. She is a member of the Chinese Orthodontic Society (COS), American Association of Orthodontists (AAO), and the World Federation of Orthodontics (WFO). She is also among the first CEREC-certified trainers in China.
