Biography

Dr.Zhang graduated from the West China University of Medical Science. She completed her master’s degree in rheumatology and clinical immunology from Peking Union Medical college. She obtained his second master’s degree in emergency medicine from Pierre and Marie Curie University, an excellent research university in Paris, France.

Since 1995, Dr. Zhang has been working in the internal medicine and emergency department of Peking Union Medical College Hospital. She was responsible for emergency work at the Olympic Village Comprehensive Clinic during the 2008 Beijing Olympics and Paralympics. Dr. Zhang is proficient in French and has translated a large amount of French medical literature.

After joining Beijing United Family Hospital, Dr. Zhang worked in the internal medicine inpatient department and ICU, as well as a rheumatologist and an allergist in the outpatient department.

In 2017, Dr. Zhang established the Allergy and Immunotherapy Center at Beijing United Family Hospital, which successfully passed the disciplinary review of the Health Commission. The Allergy and Immunotherapy Center continuously develops and optimizes diagnosis and treatment projects, and conducts allergen skin tests and serological tests, immunotherapy with biological agents for chronic urticaria and atopic dermatitis, and allergen-specific immunotherapy (i.e. desensitization therapy) for allergic rhinitis/conjunctivitis and allergic asthma. In 2022, Dr. Zhang’s team was awarded a lifelong license and certificate for the standard allergen-specific immunotherapy center, issued by the Hong Kong Quality Assurance Agency. The Center adheres to a rigorous and refined scientific system and approach, with a patient-oriented service philosophy, to provide professional and accurate diagnosis, immunotherapy, and desensitization therapy for children and adult patients.

Dr. Zhang is now a cooperative doctor of the NCRC Allergic Disease Center of the National Clinical Research Center for Dermatologic and Immunologic Diseases (Peking Union Medical College Hospital). Beijing United Family Hospital, represented by her team, is now a cooperative hospital of the NCRC Allergic Diseases Center of the National Clinical Research Center for Dermatologic and Immunologic Diseases (Peking Union Medical College Hospital).
